Ellen Ash became a member of the Georgia Bar in 1998 and started her law career with Georgia's respected and notorious criminal defense attorney, Bruce Harvey.  There Ms. Ash handled motions, trials, and appeals.  After two years in the constitutional trenches, Ms. Ash joined the civil defense firm of Sommers, Scrudder and Bass in June of 2000, and then became a founding partner in Landrum & Friduss, in 2007.  

Ms. Ash's practice focuses on general liability defense, medical malpractice defense, product liability defense, complex litigation (specializing in cases involving numerous defendants), appeals, governmental defense, domestic relations and workers' compensation matters. 

Ms. Ash has devoted her practice to the responsive, effective and efficient representation of her client’s interests both in and out of the courtroom.  Ms. Ash has zealously represented the interests of her clients at all levels of Georgia’s state and federal courts, and all divisions of the State Board of Workers’ Compensation.

Ellen Ash attended the University of Florida, majoring in History and Political Science and completing a minor in Chinese Studies.  After graduating with honors, Ms. Ash went on to attend the University of Florida's Holland School of Law graduating with honors in December 1997. During law school, Ash booked corporations and was an intern at the Alachua County Public Defender's office.

Ms. Ash is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Atlanta Bar Association.  Ash was named a Georgia Rising Star by Atlanta Magazine in 2007.  

When not practicing law, Ellen enjoys white water rafting, fishing, snorkeling, and hiking.
