Ms. Van Berkum practices in all areas of litigation in which the Firm is involved. Chrissy received her J.D. in May 2007 from the University of South Dakota. While attending USD, Chrissy was a member of the Client Counseling and Negotiations Board and headed the school’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program. During the Summer of 2006, Chrissy served as a summer law clerk at the Sioux Falls, South Dakota firm of Danforth & Meierhenry, L.L.P. Chrissy was selected by Tulane University to participate in a study abroad experience at the University of Amsterdam Center for International Criminal Law and Human Rights in the Summer of 2005. Chrissy received her B.A. in criminology and political science, summa cum laude, from the University of Northern Iowa in May 2004. Chrissy is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the American Bar Association. Chrissy is originally from North English, Iowa.
